The president has many jobs, for instance the president is the chief of state, this means that he is in charge of inspiring all Americans. Second the president is the highest boss of all other government workers. This means he can tell anyone in the government what to do and when to do it. (Including the Military) He is also in charge of telling the American ambassadors what to say to all the foreign governments. The president can also influence the law making process of the congress. The president is also the chief of party. With this power he can help people of his own party to be elected into office. Lastly the president is in charge of the economic status of the United States.

England has a government that is very effective. This government has two branches in the legislature and they speak their mind and don't care what they are saying.
On the other hand China has one of the most powerful single person. They also have a government system that does not share any information with the world.
2. What are some of the similarities of the countries that are in Chapter 22?
The countries in Chapter 22 have a single person that is said to be in complete rule, but they have very little power over that country. They also have two branches of the legislature. This makes it easier for the citizens to take part.
3. What are some of the differences of the countries that are in Chapter 22?
The countries have different ways that they run. Mexico has government most like the United States, but others like China have governments that are more controlled by a single person.
